Barossa Valley South Australia

Discovered by an Englishman, settled by Germans and named after a place in Spain, it is perhaps surprising that this landscape of gently rolling hills and fertile valleys contains extraordinary richness and diversity - in it's wines, it's places, it's people and it's culture. Somehow, The Barossa, which encompasses the Barossa Valley and the higher Altitude Eden Valley, manages to contain in its three small towns and numerous hamlets and villages the perfect mix of ingredients to keep those who live there remarkably content and those who visit always anxious to return.
